At the LMS race the Audi Pace car 'forgot' to leave the track and caused a massive pile up at the back of the field as they accelerated to race pace!!!

**** up the **** springs to mind lol, looks like it was the starters fault though, all the drivers would have been looking at the lights not for flags, should have held off for another lap. even if there wasn;t a yellow flag condition starter should have seen the pace car still in the way

The cars at the front had no problem as they could still see the pace car - the cars at the back were unsighted (over the slight brow of the hill on the start/finish) and so were going solely on the lights.

When you see green - you go...

you only go on green if the way ahead is clear.They should have been concentrating on what was ahead of them rather than staring at the lights.I agree that the pace car was at fault for not leaving the track when the lights went green but it is ultimately the racers fault if they arent concentrating
