Why do new supercars come straight to market with silly low mileages
For example there are a number of ultra low mileage 458s and the latest GT3 RSs. These are hard to get a hold of and yet there are always cars on the market straight away with super low mileages, usually under 1,000.
Any guess as to why?
Why wait 2 or even 3 years for a car and then sell it in a month?

Spivs and speculators, change in circumstances/too expensive to run, maybe they don't like the car, maybe they don't like RWD/engine in the wrong place/get fed up with having no torque/don't like the gearbox

As already mentioned speculation though some are just for show and sit in car parks and turned over now and again. Some are just bought with bonus payments from merchant banking

Owners might be worried that they're going to be burnt to death?
