Default BMW M5

You lot seen the Prices of the E39 M5. I think their bargin money for what you get. I know mpg isn't great. But I think for 400 bhp and the toys you get it's good money. £6-7K!

They are usually mega mileage at that price and have probably had a fairly tough life.

Only got around 100K on them. Saying that most cars that have Power are thrashed. That's what there for. We all don't drive ours like Grannys.

I'd prob go for the 540i Sport really! Only 100 brake less and servicing would be cheaper as well as Fuel. There's a minter on Pistonheads for 5K in Silver.

Nice car, if you buy it, get the bumper retaining bolts modified so they have locking wheel nut heads. Every week i see another e39 sport roll into my work with it's bumpers nicked!!!

The front and rear bumpers on the sports are quite saught after.
They only have two bolts each holding them to the car.
They fit vertically (looking from the ground towards the sky) through the bumper and it's corresponding brace.
Anyway they are just t50 torx heads. So theiving toe rags, unbolt them, along with some other little screws here and there. Then they pinch the bumper!!
What we do is buy a set of locking wheel nuts. Cut the heads off of the nuts so you have the keyed parts only, then cut the heads off of the bumper bolts.
We then weld the locking wheel nut heads onto the bumper bolt's shafts, essentially making locking bumper bolts!!!
