I have had a search through my car photo albums and found this one (sadly the only one I took back in 1989).

Swinford of Stourbridge had this in the showroom:

TBH, I'd rather have had an E30 M3 but they are 8-10 times the price! Always fancied one after my dad took one in px around '93 although that one was black.

It is the best handling rear wheel drive car that I have ever driven, the back end comes out nice and progressively, you can either hold it out there or bring it back in line very easily

An Evo 2 2.5-16 would be very nice although the 2.5's aren't a true cosworth as Merc made and built the engine in house

There was an Evo 2 for sale with 700 miles on it the other month, it was priced at £100,000.00!

Cheers Wilky

I love the seats they are better in person, and don't forget that the car was made in 1986!

Much better rear wheel location than either the E30 M3 or 2wd Sapphire Cosworth which were its on-road competitors at the time ( and which relied on simple semi-trailing arms ). A friend has a 2.5-16 and it is very well planted at the back and the quality of the interior is higher than the BMW or Ford ( as you would expect given the price differences when new )
