non main dealer BMW servicing
Would anyone know any decent BMW specialists near Woking/West Byfleet area so I can avoid having to contribute towards the esculators at BMW Cobham ?!

I'd give the main dealer a shot anyway to be honest. IMO BMW main dealer prices actually arent too bad, and if it's a newish car it won't do it any harm when its comes to selling on.

I wasn't concerned when I had a service last week - had "four" done at once (oil, brake fluid, filters, vehicle check) to save coming back (only oil was due) in two months - £420.

My experiences of BMW main dealers were considerably worse than Scooby main dealers and that is saying something
My 3 Series returned to me after a service with missing front brake pads being the greatest crime

This may sound daft but why not pop down to Wales for a long weekend. I know a number of London dwellers who do just that. They come down on a Thursday night have the car done on a Friday and they go back after the weekend on a Sunday.
Even with fuel used it can work out less with the independents that are about. Both of the well known ones down here are just off the M4. One near Newport and one in Swansea.
