Default What odd bits of car have you got in your garage?

Just having a clear-out of my garage.

Found a classic Impreza dash vent housing, 2 x 200mm wide TRX Michelin tyres (possibly from an Alpine Renault A310 or something), damaged front bumper and rear hatch trim for my old R5 Turbo 2, Vauxhall Carlton instruments and Lotus valve. All going in the skip at long last! and all of it frankly worthless!

Wonder what else I'll dig out in the coming days? Got a feeling there could be more knackered Turbo 2 trim parts to come. I just never seem to have thrown anything away, until now.

What random car parts do you have cluttering up your garage or shed?

Loads of scooby bits from upgrading my car, but also a set of undercar neons that the wife bought me for Christmas about 8 or 9 years ago - they are unused and still in their packaging

I am such an ungrateful sod

I've got a set of four refurbed anthracite alloys that I don't want but had forgotten I had so they're going on here or Ebay as soon as I get around to measuring the size and taking pics. I also found an indicator stalk for a Mini, a pair of Disco 1 headlights, a various assortment of orange side repeaters from various cars, some ISO connectors for a Focus and several head units from several cars. I'm sure there are more treasures waiting to be uncovered

So we've already got tyres, wheels, engine, front bumper, bull bars, a set of springs, a gear ****, dash instruments, stalks and vents, headlights and indicators and a motley selection of exhaust bits.

So has anyone got a spare drivetrain, hubs, shockers, seats and a steering wheel and a bodyshell to put them in? We could build our very own S-Net Other Marques car.

Rear bike rack we never used
A few assorted locking wheel nuts

It's the bike bits that are taking over - countless old tyres, inner tubes, three entire drivetrains, etc, etc ,etc!

I have the original wheels and tyres (worn out) from my current car, an MG Midget front spoiler in aluminium (never fitted), MG Midget Mk 1 side screens, A-H Sprite Mk 3 handbrake cable, set of Cooper S points, Lotus Europa TC workshop manual.

Oh, and a steel wheel and tyre from my old Mk 2 Golf GTi - to stop the car hitting the bench

My kitchen mantelpiece is currently sporting an ex Paul Bird, WRC Focus nearside wing mirror. There's an ex Marcus Dodd, WRC Hyundai Accent spoiler in here somewhere too!

The shed houses a Focus ST exhaust and air filter. mk1 Focus variable speed wiper stalk, fog lamp lens. Escort wheel. Fiesta roll bar bracket. Various bikes and bike bits!

I've also got a 1600 X flow engine but that's buried under my dad's back yard

I don't have a garage.

Got two sets of wheels, a steering rack, inlet manifold, some trim pieces and some other stuff in the dining room though.

Loads of crap in the shed too. Anti roll bars, a rear bumper, some dash parts, couple of heater matrix's.

I did have to C20XE's in the shed but sold them a while back.

I've got a early 70s Oettinger steering wheel that was on one of 2 Mk1 Golfs that they tuned to prototype their early aftermarket parts.
