Yeah, my mate has just got his and it looks amazing.
Not been in it yet, but should be fun!
Apparently, not as quick as it could be and a tw@t to drive in the wet!!!
Still... looks good!

A mate of mine bought a left hand drive French import jobbie a while ago after reading the write ups and seeing how it looked....any way he sold it after 5 months as he thought it was cr4p, underpowered for what it was, although he loved the looks.
Theres one in the showroom at Fish Bros in Reading, they do look the mutts nuts though IMO.

Here she is...
It looks and sounds amazing, with that lovely V6 burble right behind you and on full tile is purrs. Everyone we drove past turned and looked as we went by too!
But... it aint actally that quick. It's not slow, but I would have expected more from it.
A Scooby would eat one!

Yup, the V6 aint much different to a 172 and I know someone else who had a V6 on order, but cancelled and got a 172 instead.
All people who had reserved V6 Clio's were invited to test them at MIRA before they had to definately confirm they'd buy it. My mate went, drove it, wasn't overly impressed, then took a 172 out immediately after the V6 and decided he would save about £10k and get the 172.
Shame...

This is the problem...
Renault Clio V6:
Cost - £26,000
Power - 230bhp
0-60 - 6.6secs
1/4 Mile - 15.2secs @ 94mph
Renault Clio Sport 172:
Cost - £15,000
Power - 172bhp
0-60 - 6.6secs
1/4 Mile - 15.0secs @ 94mph
Honda Civic Type-R:
Cosr - £16,000
Power - 197bhp
0-60 - 6.7secs
1/4 Mile - 15.2secs @ 96mph
I think I'd rather have either a Clio 172 or a Civic Type R and have the extra £10k or £11k to spend on summat else!
Ok, so the V6 looks good, but it is heavy, overpriced, has dubious handling, etc...
(p.s. Yes the brakes are massive!)
