Serious bit of kit, that I have to admit leaves my Scoob standing
But at £47000 it should do!
350bhp standard, but most are chipped to 450bhp

Cool

The satisfaction stands in those very narrow B roads where RS4 can't keep up (1620 kg..)!

True, they can't keep up to a scoob around the tight ones.

An Audi RS4 has 380 bhp, with chip (Abt) 420 bhp.

They accelerate better than a Scooby but the brakes are ****.

Are the the same engine spec as the s4? Caught one of them out at a junction, but i didnt realise till i pulled out and saw him still behind me. Is the rs4 a different engine or just skirt?

No that was its predecessor the rs2 based on the old Audi 80. Prsche developed the engine( 2200 cc turbo, 315 BHP), brakes (Brembo) and Suspensions.

here we can see the difference once again. 2litre lightweight turbo scooby with mods to have 300BHP will leave for instance the RS4 any day when on twisty roads requiring quick handling and braking... thats it!

All true.... new version of RS2,poor brakes, not as fast on a tight corner...
But how many of us would want one ???? I would!!! Check the exhausts!!! Build quality that Subaru could not spell....

A good car if you got the money and a big thumbprint from the Mrs making you get an estate. The thing is for nigh on £50k you could get a scoob for you and wagon for the mrs and have 7k left for modding ur scoob.

0-100 in 11.5 approx...very quick.
I had a go with one about 2 months ago, only got up to about 80 then had to pull back as slip road was merging with M1 J39 & old duffer inbetween me & RS4
very nice for an estate but @ 45k, as someelse pointed out, I don't think I'd bother

ANY car that can whoop a scoob (and let's face it, there are a growing number out there) be it in a straight line or the twisty bits gets my thumbs up

I just love to see quick cars in action especially if they are giving me a hard time cos it's not unless you are in ya scoob that you actually appreciate how bl00dy quick some of these machines are

Mikey 'spect to the quicker cars out there

If I remember the RS4 is the same twin turbo engine thats in the S4 but the cosworth boys have tinkered a little! In a straight line you just can't argue with that kind of power, in fact the only car to ever leave my VTS for dead was the new M3 (RS4 rival). He pulled away so quick I questionned whether my foot was actually on the throttle! Alas, the scooby just can't shake a VTS like that!
