Hi all just looking for a little help
i've been helping a mate look for a cheap runaround & found a ka that he's
interested in. the car is advertised as an my02 but as a y plate on
checked the car on dvla & comes up as date of regestration 21/2/02
which would put it on a 51 plate
can anyone explane this or does it sound a bit dodgy ?

maybe the previous owner did a plate transfer to a reg with his initials?

can change plate year to older but not newer

Yup, should be able to easily tell by the numbers, are they 1-20 or 30,33,40,44,50 etc
Any other number doesn't rule it out but would be more unusual.
