Cool Got talking to a Veyron owner last night..

Here's a few facts;

He paid £1.2 million for it last week (it has the removable roof). One of only 5 in the world at present.

Wheels cost £54,000 for the four before VAT

Tyres are £6,000 a corner.

Road tax is £405

Funniest thing was the look on the face of a guy driving past in his Enzo when he realised he'd been out Supercar'd.

Picture to follow shortly, apologies in advance as it was taken on the phone.

Interior was very nice too, don't know about the stalks though.

He did ask if I knew anyone who could detail his wheels, I told him nobody sprang to mind

I would promptly sell it, and use the money for better and more interesting things!

That works out at about £16 per mile just for tyres

This was around Park Lane (Mayfair)

I'd just like to add the Enzo was in convoy with a White Rolls Royce Phantom drophead Coupe.

In my estimation thats about £2million worth of motors

Guess he was overpaid at the time, and then had to sell it to finance his stay in the marvellous F1......

Just looked into this an it's not £6000 per tyre, but £6000 per set of tyres being replaced by Bugatti as they do lots of complex checks at the same time, so labour is the main cost.

That needs doing every 2500 miles tho!... and every 7500 miles the wheels need to be replaced?!

I think you would tho as it's part of the service schedule! It wouldn't have a full dealer service history otherwise and I expect that would hurt the value a lot!

I have a mate who could stamp the book up from a local VW garage

Could a Skoda garage stamp the book? An Audi dealer could stamp my schedule so the same logic applies

As long as the garage is VAT registered anyone can service it.

Not strictly true. You have to be of a certain standard for servicing. The VW main dealer that I work at CAN NOT service Phaeton or Touareg. Some Audi dealers can NOT service RS/R8 models.

I read that a Veyron service is £13600. Anyone know if thats true, and if it includes the tyre/wheel change?
