Awesome pictures....are you a pro then? I've been taking pictures of cars for years (mostly my own) and they never come out like that. Obviously you've chosen a great location but I've done that to before and it still hasn't quite come out like that. What camera and lens are you using? any specific set up?.
I'm still learning with my camera a SLR Minolta Dynamax 5. I've got two lenses both Minolta, ones a AF 28-80 and the others a AF 75-300 (for distant shots). These have worked great for me over the years at Castle Combe circuit mostly free hand but some times with a tripod.
How did you do the moving shot at the end. On a tripod with a timer I'm assuming but was it a long exposure then or something? Don't know how you got the car to be so in focus??? Great shots. Any answers or pointers appreciated, Gareth

I take photos of cars from a living - I'll be at Castle Combe working this weekend for my race team Ajec Racing. That moving looks like it was done car-to-car with the photographer in a car in front of the M5 while they both drive along...a tricky shot that needs a lot of practice....

Yes I was driving and the photographer was in the boot of the Audi as we both drove along about 10mph.

Time to learn how to use Photoshop!
My skills so far extend to blanking the number plates!
Paul - just wipe out that bit of road repair on the bottom LH side - then the photo would look spot on.

I might try that car-to-car shot if I can get a friend to help...looks tricky though.
Thanks for your input Freelance Badger (any more would be great ie; camera tricks, techniques)as I am totally self taught.
