Audi A6 Estate 20 inch wheels please?
Does anyone out there have any photos or can direct me to any websites where I can look at Audi A6 Estates with 20 inch wheels, I'm trying to decide between 19 or 20,
I have a 2001 model not the latest,
Thanks in advance as I have had no responses on the Audi forums

20's on an old style A6 will look rediculous. Get some 19" RS6's and it will look fine, just make sure they're replicas as the real ones will stick out too much due to high offset. Oop's edit to say just noticed its a 4.2, from memory they have the wider arches so you may get away with geniune RS6's...

I agree, at first I thought 19 were the norm, but a couple of people I know have said they have seen pictures somewhere with Audi models like mine with 20 inch wheels and they apparently still look very good om my bodyshell, which is the same bodyshell as the RS6, and as you say I have the wide arches.

Thankyou for the reply,
Can I ask a dull question are the chassis similar then between Audi's and VW Passat's
MY et is 35 to 42, I have found some 20 inch wheels, the usual 7 twin spoke design, from Premier Wheels, with 245/30/20 falken tyres, for around £1200, or 19 inch wheels for around £800, I'm just trying to picture the 20's on my car, I was hoping to find some pics to look at

Does look good but is it not a pig to drive ?
Always think the low/big wheeled thing does set a car off but at the expense of having something that pogos across the road, tramlines, judders etc, my Saab 9-3 is on factory "Sports" (read too hard) suspension and seventeen in alloys but its just about ok but I wouldnt want to go any stiffer or bigger wheeled.

Thanks for the pic, those 20 inch wheels really do fill out those arches and I have to say look very good !!!!!
I think I've made my mind up and will go for the 20 inch wheels,
Having had a scoob on 18 inch wheels and coilovers, I'm quite use to a harsh ride
Cheers Kevin
