Is the Evo world destined for chav status???? I think its already there These people have the fastest cars on the planet and like to show it!
I post on a vauxhaul forum and reading quite a few of the posts on MLR it reminds me of all the posts I see on there

But what tosser would "push" someone onto the wrong side of the road to humiliate them ?

I prefer to ease up along side, and then look across in a slightly concerned manner, and then apply the "lead welly"....

Most recently done to a BMW diesel driver. He actually thought I was struggling, till I drove away laughing !

Nah there is a difference, its the "I'm gonna beat you know matter what " attitude?? and people posting on for the 1st time saying "we are the quickest" and I bet he has a 260 evo I lloked at quite a few posts and they all say "we are the fastest" fpmsl, its a slippery slope

its bin like that since the 1.9 205 peugeot days and the 1275gt mini and the m2 escort rs 2000 it will always be like that. im 42 and still get the urge to have a race but would never endanger anyone. i agree also with you but we were all young once and prob still are at heart.god i love fast ordinary cars.

Funny you posted that Steve cause i remember seeing a similar post on an Evo forum.

One always accuses the other of being chavvy.

IMHO they are both getting swamped with chavs these days albeit, the Evo is more expensive

I didnt put them as figure chasing. I said "I bet they have a 260bhp evo" yet they suddenly have the fastest car on the planet. If you want to spend to get to my power level and think your a chav ??? Well done as it costs lots and lots of cash and most chavs just want an out of the box fast car ???

I don't think its a "chav" thing, all makes have some owners most of the other owners wish didn't!

I'm sure there are plenty of Ferrari and Bentley (stinking rich) enthusiasts who wish "chavvy" footballers wouldn't drive them as well....

We just have to do what we can to distance ourselves from the lesser people..

surley most pople who mod their cars do it for the pleasure and as a project rather than to fit the chav stereotype

surely looking from any other makes point of view scooby cars/drivers get a really bad rap and are deemed chav especialy in the eyes of insurance companies

None of this really matters because BOY RACERS/CHAVS do their thing and true enthusiasts do theirs
