Default BMW X6-M revealed

(Sorry if it's a repost)

Seen a couple of normal X6's on the road, heard others slate them, but I think they look awesome on the road!

BMW Officially Reveals X6 M - GTSPIRIT.COM

555Bhp + 500lb-ft

0-60 = 4.5secs

Soooo wrong yet so damn desirable!

I'd still go for the twin turbo diesel though.

Much as I am a huge BMW fan, and rate both the X5 and X6 highly in their sectors, I can't help but think that M versions are unnecessary, and devalue the other M cars in the range.

By all means have an X5 and X6 "M-Sport", with the same spec, but lets keep the "proper" M cars more pure, and, if you like, charismatic.

For sure, it will generate sales, but 500 lb-ft of torque from 1500 to 5,650rpm. whilst impressive is not a true "M" car imo.

Don't like the grille, but decked out in offroad tyres and Rally Dakar decals I can imagine it would turn heads.

Kind of like it but I wouldn't want the rest of the world thinking I was the kind of person that would buy one.

I like the look of it, Seems mean looking the only problem is I just dont get it. There are cooler 4x4's, there are cooler saloons, there are cooler estates....I just dont get it.

PMSL at some of the comments on here.....I think some of you are thinking about it too hard.

It's a car FFS, why does it have to have a "point"

.....and since when should I start worrying about what other people think about what car I drive! I drive the car I drive because I like it and I enjoy it, I don't give a **** what anyone else thinks.

True, although we are currently allowed to have an opinion in the UK, NL haven't banned them or started to tax them yet!

The advertising should include the slogan "A kay-ann for the more discerning, innit"

Opinions being like a$$holes - everyone has one

It is a pointless POS that will be adorning football players' and drug-dealing gangsta's driveways mind!

Might as well get an M1A1 Abrams;

Looks as good, is as friendly to the enviroment as an X5/6 M is, gets about the same MPG, and finally, it costs about the same!

But the best part is that it has a 120mm gun, that can kill the X5/6 Ms!!

I saw one yesterday, while waiting to cross the road. Spontaneously burst out laughing-I couldn't help it! The driver gave me a "look" as he went past - Alook that said "not again! Why did I buy this piece of ****?"
He didn't look happy at having shelled out, only to have people laugh at him.
