A lot of the 997 GT3s that have come on the market in the last couple of weeks are white - they look STONKING!! And a bargain if you happen to have £65k lying around

I doubt it will be worse than either of my Scoobs - the Spec C was low 20s and my STi V did around 17mpg! I don't think most Scoob owners car about petrol costs either, if they did they would be driving Fabia diesels

I was lucky enough to drive a GT2 at Longcross a few years back when my mate was having his car photographed for a magazine article.
Power oversteer available in the dry at practically any speed
You are very, very lucky. It's on my shortlist of lottery win cars

Thank you all - your comments are very kind. It is a car I always dreamed of and I set myself a target that when my business (I set it up four years ago) reached a certain revenue then I would get myself my dream car.
I have reached my target - it was a nice motivator.
The great thing about the GT3 (apart from that engine) is that it is based on the Carrera 4 bodyshell which is a stiffer base but also narrow bodied. This helps both aerodynamics as well as nimbleness. It is one of the many things that makes this car special - it is barely bigger than the Scoob which means it can really be used on the road unlike Ferraris and Lambos. Event the GTR has a much bigger footprint.
As you can tell I am very excited

Been considering one for myself for some time
Will wait and see what the newer GT3's are like - with the lack of finance available I cannot see the huge waiting lists that effected the previous GT3's that were all sold and on large waiting lists
I cannot think of the GTR - just too heavy for the track - sure the stats are good but with that weight it will soon eat through everything
I'm sure you good have got one a long time ago ;-)
Hope your business continues to thrive

Lovely looking car
MUCHO respect for the whole "reward" thing too.
Nice to see a success story in these woeful times
Is it going to be a daily driver or have you got something else to pootle about in?

Speed cameras around Sandy, but after that, when you see the signs to Alconbury, nail it. There's four lanes ahead for five miles straight, up to Peterborough. It's the same stretch that Max Power used when that mad Jap wound up his Skyline engined Supra to 196mph. He ended up in prison and got deported tho'
