and whole Metro thing is a non-starter. Seem to recall the 0-60 was out of this world though, and they used the engine in the Jag XJ220

The only reason for that it that it was banned 10 minutes after being born - it's still a legend (though ugly as f**k!)

3 litre V6. The engine went on to be developed, and developed again, and another 16 times , before it ended up in the XJ220. So it was a similar engine in the Jag, but not the same.

My dad owned one of the work's 6R4's back in the late 80's. He bought it off of ARG in 1986 while Grp B was still running, for the pricey sum of £5k

That one on Pistonheads is massively over-priced. The current owner bought it for 40k at the start of this year, and stuck it in a ditch on his first drive!
