as above i have got a version 6sti in cool grey, with a good spec, with some very hard to come by mods.

i would like to put all the bits off my car into a version 5/6 sti wagon, but it would just cost to much to do.

other cars i am looking at are evos, and some of the audis

the car has to be able to fit a baby seat in, and a buggy in the boot.

not to woried anout how much fuel it uses, as only use my scoob about 2 times a week, then it is locked away in the garage.

and it has to be a strate swap, or money my way

I'd look at a Ford Sierra RS Cosworth mate, their getting a bit old now but you will be ok if you got a garage and classic insurance makes it cheap!!

Newage STI. I have 3 young kids, and plenty of room for all including child seats in a newage. The whole car is just that bit larger than a classic with a sensible back seat.

The Newage has more usable space than a 5 series BMW.

And the newage in a nicer place to be on the inside in general. We went from a Zafira GSI to a Newage STI and haven't regretted it.

The classic has a decent boot and fantastic all round abillity, ant audi would be a big mistake, huge sevicing costs huge parts cost very very very limited specialists. Kim Collins is a ***** in the biggest order unless you are spending money, look on the S2 forums. I had the first V7 STI Wagon in the country and had a TSL 333 conversion on it. If you can sell yours for cash i'd say look at one of them. I currently run a woodford garage upgraded Escort Cossy and its the only car iv'e had that is better than my V7 Wagon
