Clio - Cycle Carrier, Rear Mounted?

Anybody fitted a rear mounted cycle carrier to a Renault clio (V reg)....? halfords dont recommed it!?!?

Probably because the weight will pull the tailgate off...lol...

TBH why anyone would want to carry a bike that way is ...well....

Stick it on the roof. Safer, easier, less damage all round.

I agree - but car will get changed shortly, and dont wanna waste cash on multiple sets of roof bars!
