Default Skoda Fabia leaking door seals???

The Mrs has a 2005 Skoda Fabia and for the last few months its been leaking water in the rear passenger floor area. When you open the door both seals are wet at the bottom of the door and the carpet wet (actually its a miny lake). Not sure if it had anything to do with her once hitting a deep puddle (her words not mine).

Anyone else have any other problem like this, or whats the easiest way to fix it? I actually considered drilling a small hole (1.0mm) in both foot wells

He's not around at the moment so I can't ask him. I think it's a question of repairing or replacing the seal.

Common Fault as mentioned, my wife's had hers done twice.

Need re-sealing, something to do with a badly designed window mechanism or something.

Ask at a main dealer, may be able to get it done out of warranty as it's a known fault??

Had both sides of my vRS done for this, at a local VW dealership. Touch wood, it's fine now.

Here's a useful link on it: Clicky
