Today I fell in love, but also feel old
Went to BMW today with the Mini convertible and saw a 5 series M Sport Diesel.
It was lovely. So am going to sell the X3 and get myself an "old mans car"
The X3 has been a faultless vehicle and will miss it, fingers crossed the 5 will be the same.
The wife isnt happy that here X3 is going and being replaced with the 5

You know it makes sense
5-ers have always been the best all-round driver's BMWs - the rest either don't handle properly - being too bumpy or too wallowy. Or they are too small or too big.
Old man is a wise man...but an old man gets an SE not a Sport, as otherwise his dentures may vibrate out
I actually do have a 530iA sport which at 28 years old - can't make me old? However it drives so nice and has so many toys that it seems everyone else wants to drives it - and does so, leaving me lumbered with a lowely 325, which handles horribly in comparsion, and its dull to boot.
Ps. Get one without Run-flats.
