Hi Guys,

I have an intermittent problem. Seems my turbo only pressurises when it feels it wants to. The mileage is currently 137000 Km. It came back from the 135000Km service and It now has this "turbo" problem. One day the turbo is pressurising, the next day it is not. It works for 3days straight sometimes, then stops for a few days then carries on working for a few days. Nothing is constant, which is why these guys cant find the problem. I now have an agreement with Audi for testing parts in my car before paying for them, so they can atleast eliminate whats NOT fixing my car, without wating my money.

Here's what they've replaced:
Mass Meter,
Checked and cleaned throttle valve,
checked for fuel in oil,
checked all pressure hoses for tears / bad connection,
lambda probes,
and a whole lot of other things I have no idea what they do / mean

Can anyone please help me. I have had this issue for over a month now.

Thanks,
Deano.

Check the "Y" joints under the inlet manifold they split, and are difficult to check.
