Default Company Car choice

I will be getting around 550pm car allonce, i don't mind putting in a couple of hundred myself to get something half decent. Driving is mostly M-Way, 50 - 60 miles per day, so oil burner would be ideal choice.

Was tinking about a drop top and looked at the 330d M-Sport but it's so fookin expensive Any other options I should consider, getting a drive for a few days in a A4 3.2 Quattro (hard top).... Don't fancy the TT.

Do you mean £550pm before tax?

Even at 40% tax your probably gonna net £300pm. If your prepared to put to it you'd be surprised at what you can afford if you looked at leasing a car I would have thought?

Default Try This

Saab 9-3 Convertible, if you log on to the Saab website as a company car driver you can try one for 2-3 days, I tried a 2.8 Aero, very nice car & may have gone the wrong route with the STi because of of the miles I cover.

Does your £550 include fuel? If so then you could get something like a JDM Civic Type-R (i.e. the good one) and put the rest of the money towards running it.

Wife had one of these, the 2.0T Aero version, never again.

The great thing about company cars is that you don't have to worry about their residual value. Why not take the opportunity to buy a car that has enormous depreciation, but is something that you always wanted. Why not buy the boring family car using your money and spend the company money on something bonkers like an Exige or VXR8. I guess that'll mean more tax but still cheaper than buying it the normal way.

Think CO2, your co car tax bill will be massive otherwise.

That is nice but a bit small for me, I wonder if they will put that engine in the 3 series, it's the twin blowers that appeal but I'm sure they only have them on the 335d in the 3 series range.

Got a brand new (53 miles on the clock) A4 3.2 Quattro today for a week and it's pretty good.....But you can really feel the weight. Build quality is stunning and that sound system
