Default Cheap RS4

Right. Old man has been trying to sell his RS4 for the last month or so without any luck. Many phone calls, all time wasters.

He needs/has to sell it by lunch time Friday 29 February or he's going to have to sell it to a dealer. Thus them selling it on for much more monies.

Spec.
March 2006 V8 RS4 Saloon, 8,650 miles. Almost every extra apart from Sat nav. Adaptive headlight, cool box, carbon inserts, heated Bucket seats etc.

If anyone is thinking about buying one, or knows someone looking to buy one, you/they might get a bit of a bargin. Has been up for sale at £44,995.

Up this week for £41,000. All serious offers considered. All stupid offers rejected.

I can't post up any pics until monday (on work PC) but anyone interested give me a pm for more information/pictures/contact number.

I must say i'm surprised these cars don't come with sat-nav as standard. Sat-nav is quite desirable for resale!!

Yes, we know that now.

To be honest he never ordered Sat nav as it was a couple grand ontop, plus as the milage suggests he never goes anywhere in it.
He had/has another vehicle for work so had a Co-Pilot to use between the cars.
The work car he has now does have Sat Nav, and he now wishes he'd ordered Sat Nav for the RS4. Though I doubt he could ask for more money just because it had Sat Nav.

Looking at the cars just on Pistoheads, there are a lot of RS4's that have been on there for months without selling. Even with Sat Nav.

Guess the bottom has fallen out of expensive second hand cars.

If the car is in perfect order/good spec and doesnt sell, then the price is too high or it's not reaching it's target audience.

Parkers says £38k for private 'good' with 10k miles on it? Not sure you get much back on the extras apart from an easier sale? ( Not sure of how extras are valued tbh) Dealer will be offering £36k for it I imagine?
(add 1k more to the above prices if it's a 56 reg)

The problem is that new A4 means new RS4 round the corner and the market knows it.

Still 2-3 years away though.

S version probably out next year.
RS version probably out 2010-2011

Obviously I don't know this as fact but it does sound right. Afterall they have yet to develop and market the TTRS. Would expect an RS5 out before the RS4 too. Hopfully an RS3 could be on it's way too.
