Default advise please

i have decided to sell my beloved scooby after 2 years of ownership as im only using it to commute to work and it seems pointless to do so .

https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...my-scooby.html

im after another car which would be all round cheaper to run and still slightly decent to drive , ive decided i want a diesel car with not too many miles on and with a budget of 5.5 grand also not too old .
these are the ones i have thought of and would like your opinions on them and also reccomendations .

-pugeot 307 hdi .
-astra 1.7 dti .
-seat ibiza .
cheers
neil

At that price I'd be looking for a PD130 Golf/Bora/Passat. Not the best of drives but nice motors with plenty of poke and great economy.

I sold my 2001 Bora for £4500, it had loads of kit and still felt new after 60,000 miles.

But, they're not under any circumstances a drivers car, which eventually just pee'd me off beyond belief.
