I wonder how much of it is shared with the New mondeo.
Maybe its just me, but when I look at them both, the proportions of the bodyshell are so similar it looks like they share the same platform.
Still not sure on the grille - looks too much like an afterthought to try and make it look "Jaguar-ish".Will need to see it in the flesh to convince me.
on the flipside, I saw the new Merc C-class the other day, and that looks superb.

6500 deposits and not one test drive, cant be to bad can it.
Oh and when are people going to learn that EVERY manufacturer shares the platforms of there cars in this day an age. The new mondeo is again one of the best drivers cars on the road yet the Jaguar will use the same technology but with a bit of extra strengthening to support the extra weight and give a more luxorious drive. For gods sake no-one ever mentions the TT Golf Octavia platforms do they

I don't give a sh*t if its a mondeo And the best handling driver's car chassis is a Nissan Primera...bothered?
Just there is ALOT of styling cures carried between the two vehicles...but no comment is made on what platform the car uses.
Its when the PR boys mask over it and say its a "Jaguar through and through". Yeah...Whatever.

I have seen an almost completely undisguised XK F and in the flesh it does indeed look very good IMHO. It really looked like a modern interpretation of what a Jaguar should look like.

I see them daily around here undisguised. They're deffo going to be a winner, Jaguar have got rid of that old mans image at last. My boss is a XJ fan and he's going to hate it, but he is 60.
I did see what looked like an S type with the front disguised the other day, i wonder what that was about?

I see an SV8 every morning when I look out of the window! CHap over the road from me is one of the leads on the project. It's a very good looking car and when I get to pedal it in the next few days I'll let you know how it goes.
Looking forward to the 5.0 litre supercharged version!

Should try a sport and a highly twisty B-road with a good set of contisports. Not driven a FWD car that comes close in handling. Although 99% of other cars will out accelarate it due to it being so underpowered.
Of course we're talking the rep mobile class here...I have to say that - before some ******** forgets the point that my previous post was scarcastically compared against a mondeo in a reply that claimed it has the best chassis etc.

Don't get any ripples of excitement over Jaguars anymore. That XF is no exception.
Few years and it will join the thousands of X types and S types going for £1 in Autotrader.
Feel quite sad because 20 years ago I saw them as luxury cars. Not now
