Audi RS4 incident
Hi everyone,
Recently i had an unfotunate incident in an audi rs4. Had an accident where I hit a round about, losing the front drivers side wheel. At the time of the accident i wasn't insured. Audi has had a look at the car and they have said the repair work could cost up to 20,000 quid/or that i could consider it a write off.
Needless to say that i'm in a pretty bad situation... Guess i just came on here wondering what peoples opinions are and was looking for some general advice as i am quite lost in terms of what to do next. Would really appreciate everybody's views.
Thanks in advance

Sure you'll get a good slap from everyone. Nice provocative post. I'm thinking troll on this one.
As a non troll response - next time get insurance. that's what you should do. Meanwhile, bend over and take it.

Basically, hard luck, you have lost your car, thats the simple answer, no way out if you didnt insure it. If you didnt insure it on purpose then you should be ashamed of yourself, if it is due to some **** up, memory lapse then you have my sympathy. If indeed a Troll then why bother ?
The engine went on one of mine, bad luck, sold it for parts, I would imagine even a bent RS4 sold for bits would get you a nice cheaper motor.

Just go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up, upload pics and then post link here.
Have a good search on the internet 1st to find a suitably smashed up RS4 first though.
Make sure you don't post pics of a car that's already been seen either, schoolboy error that one.

Hi,
You may be a troll, maybe not.
People on SN arte generally pertolheads but ddo have little time for those who break the (sensible ) laws of the land. No insurance costs us all.
if the Police are involved then you will, chances are be done for no insurance, get points and a fine. 4 pointsw and uo to £1k i believe.
If they can prove that you where reckless or dangerous or due care then more fines and more points.
As far as the car goes if it is not insured then you will not be able to claim and will have to stump up for the repairs.
Begs the question of why when someone can afford to buy such a car can the then not afford to insure it.
IMHO you would have to be pretty stupid and foolhardy to drive without insurance and especially something as expensive as this car.
Get another qwuotr/'assesment, 20K does not equate to a wheel, looks like suspension and chassis problems anlong with maybe a gearbox.
A fool and their money...

I did get done for no insurance. 6 Points, 200 quid fine. It wasn't my mates car, it was my dad's. And yes, the suspension has gone, bodywork damage, possible gearbox damage. Obviously whatever happened was my fault. This isn't a troll or anything, i'll go and register at the website that someone suggested and then put some pictures up....
