Read in the local press this week that the new Legacy comes with a six cylinder 3000cc engine which is only 25mm longer than the 4 cylinder one.

So how long will it take to stick this into an impreza plus twin turbo's of course. To give you some idea the Audi RS4 pumps out 375 BHP.

Cool

I read in AutoExpress that this engine was announced at the Paris Motor Show, and that it would be used to power the Subaru Outback which according to Subaru is "an executive estate with go-anywhere ability".

I can never work out why no one has done more "engineering" to thier scooby. I know that ECU/Filter/Excahst/Pistons etc is good for 300+ on an STI, but I have a colleague who took a corrola from 125bhp to 200+ (Dyno'd) He ported/flowed and put at Celica 1.8 Bottom end on. Where at the 400bhp scoobies?

Has anyone put a 2.5 block in from and then put on all the toys??

(PS Yes I know that the 300+BHP cars always whip the opposition at track days but thats not my point)
