My missus used to own one. There cheap and cheerfull tbh but hers was reliable with nothing going wrong with it in 2 years. They handle quite well and are nippy but they feel very cheap.

I loved my old one, and my mum likes hers. The pedals are annoyingly close together, but they are good fun little cars to drive - keep the revs up and watch for lift-off oversteer! Proper old-school hot hatch fun. (when hot hatches were exactly that and not fat family cars with 200+ bhp like they have now )

i had one when they had just been lauched, in red, real go cart, badges off and slightly lowered, had no problems with mine at all in 3 years of ownership, so newer ones should be ok.

only possible down side would be they are real boy racer cars now and seen as a bit chavvy.

You get used to the pedals and the VTR is a lot of fun to drive and chuck around. Nice and nippy for nipping around town. Crash protection is terrible compared to the current crop of supermini's so if your wife or daughter are going to be hacking around on motorways much this is something to consider.

Got one tucked away in the garage at the moment, next to the Scoob
They're good fun to throw about, very cheap and cheerful, only problem I've ever had with mine is the battery going flat with it being sat in the garage for a few weeks.
