A sure sign of impending middle age I know, but I really want one

Mercedes CE. Must be gold, Silver, grey.

Theres been a gold one for sale 300 yards away ,outside a mtor bike showroom , for at least 6 months ...think it was 2.5k .

I love the looks aswell and would like to own one. But I dont think I could drive it anywhere as people will think I'm a bit weird (30 yo)

I've been trying to convince MrsD that she needs one of them for ages

Toruble is she drove my W124 touring and decided that all Benzes were too big for her

Having said that though, she did manage to acquire an impressive number of parking scars on her old Ka, so maybe she's right

Really like those old CE's. Masses of car for the money, and still look "old money" classy. Had a nice W124 E280 for a bit last year: the build quality is staggering, and they actually go pretty well.

Then again I am going grey and bald

Did a fatherpierre last week and bought an ebay 300E on Buy It Now, fully MOT'd for the price of a decent shirt- until the barstard seller sold it from under me the next day. So still looking.

You can't beat an old Benz.

I had a W124 300E-24 and it was a corker Quiet and fast, unbreakable..
