Suggest a 7 seater for under £13k
And here is the second most un-exciting thread here in a long time.
We're looking to replace our Mercedes E-Class (anyone wanna buy a W210 E320CDi Estate with all the toys?) with a 7 seater MPV type thing. I've considered a few options and was wondering if anyone had more to add. Budget is £13k max.
1. Chrylser Grand Voyager. Didn't even score 1 in the NCAP ratings so that's out.
2. VW Sharan. It's a possibility.
3. Seat Alhambra. Nasty interior.
4. Pegeot 807. Don't even go there.
5. Ford Galaxy. It's a possibility.
6. Vauxhall Zafira. For some reason, SWMBO is not keen.
7. Renault Grand Espace. 5 star NCAP rating, loads of room, but it's French and therefore has questionable reliability/build quality.
8. Renault Grand Scenic. Too small despite it being a 7 seater. + same issues as Espace.
9. VW Touran. Too small despite it being a 7 seater.
10. Landrover Discovery. Too rough around the edges.
Have I missed any?

How about a Toyota Land Cruiser 1997 onwards. The interior is not all fantastic, but you got reliability and I don't think it will depreciate any further anytime soon.
