Yip I'm going to the one in Edinburgh. Just did it for a laugh really
As I read it you get 15 min's of track time, in a kart, to post the quickest lap time you can, sounds fun and free to
Don't really expect to make the final I must say, as there will be squillions of kart racers, etc doing it I don't race at all and can only claim experience of the odd gift day at Knockhill but will try very hard though
I went on something similar years ago via autotrader I think and was about the only person there who did not have full race gear and a pit crew!
Still well worth going along just to enjoy yourself

I just entered the quiz whilst bored and guessed half the answers so either I'm a good guesser or everyone who entered is through to the karting bit!

I think there will be a few doing the karting qualification bit. It should be great fun though. We'll need to compare notes afterwards. I'm pretty sure the lap records on these tracks will seem impossible to us but you never know we might just "hook up" a good one
