dump valve on a 306 d turbo

one of the chavs i work with wonts to put a dump valve on a 306 d turbo

.do turbo diesel's have dump valves on them.

I have heard of it on a 306 dt. It invloves some electrical unit also, as its too low pressure to run a DV without it.

Ive heard one on a 306 before,not sure if its rigged up as a petrol motor but didn't sound too bad.

I have heard on the grapevine you need to use the hks ssqv something to do with boost pressures and the way the dv works
