E60 M5 Touring at Festival of Speed
My mate had to drag me away as I was drooling.
Once these beasts have done some depreciation, I think I may have found my next car.
Depending how the RS4 Avant test drive goes....
Awesome.

PS is it just me that prefers the Touring body shapes in this class of car?
RS6, RS4, M5, even the Mercs, just looks so much better IMHO.

3 series looks cack in non Touring form but nice in touring but I prefer the 5 series in saloon form - overhangs are too long on the estate.
Audis definitely all look better in Avant form and Mercs - I like the estates too.
Something uber cool about a supercar worrying dog carrier!

We've just come back from The Ring, in my mate's E60 M5 (saloon)
Tremendously capable car. 165mph down the Autobahn. 155 down the restricted start / finish straight at the Ring.
Very comfortable, although we turned off the auto seat huggers! ;-)
8mpg when flooring it, averaging 15mpg for the trip (we were a little naughty)
