My Next Car?

My Next Car?
These threads are always fun, so..
I've just (provisionally) sold my RB5 after 5 years of owning it
What's next? I think I'll be looking for a new car in sept/october. £30k would seem a good limit I think.
There is no need for any sort of practicality and running costs are no issue. Minimal miles, and just for fun car.
My shortlist is;
Noble M12 GTO 3R
Exige (can you pick up a supercharged one for this money?)
Ferrari Testarossa (I'm worried that 30k will only get a rough one)
I'm completely open to suggestion.. spec c, evo 9, M3 CSL are all worth a look. I don't think I want another modified car.

Noble's are great, quite rare, pretty relaible, reasonable to run [although you say it isn't an issue] superb handling with lots of power - smile a minuet.

I would strongly reccomend if you are considering a Noble then try and get a warranty and have it fully inspected by a specialist.
All that being said the performance and handling was unreal...

I'd go for the Exige ot of that little list.
Heard some horrendous stories about Nobles and the Testarossa is an 80s, chest rug medallion car - Not Ferraris finest - I'd rather get a 328 if looking for a "classic"
I'd try out an Evo FQ360 too - Plenty under £30k (even new ones seem to be going for this sort of money) and it will kick the living **** out of any of the others -Best car I've driven (including F355, Elise 111R, blah blah, etc, etc) by a long way - SOOOOOO quick and even nice inside at last!

Go for Broke:-
You can get an Aston Martin DB7 with under 40k miles (even the soft top) for £30k - 330bhp supercharged Jag engine I think!
Better than a Ferrari IMHO.

You can pick up the odd DB7 V12 for that, thing is, i've not quite developed an affection for tweed jackets and leather elbow patches yet As much as I like them it's not the car for me.
The reason the testarossa is in there, is it's one of my all time favourite cars... and it's got a flat 12

Noble.
No different to any other car, there are good 'uns and bad 'uns. I clocked up 20K miles in 18 months without a problem and loved every minute.
They have stopped making the M12 & M400 so prices have firmed up, (new model coming out, downside is the factory have announced they will no longer supply parts direct but have to buy through dealer.
To find the right car, go on the Noble forum on p/heads, really helpful folk on there, but don't forget to use the search button as well on there!
