Been thinking and looking round on net reading up on the latest shape celica(gen7) anyone here ever owned one?

Before u mention there forum site been on there as well but just thought i would ask on here as some of u might have owned one.

So any info-more likely be the 140 one i would buy.

Yep, i owned a 140 before my RB5.

Very nice car, a bit underpowered, but apart from that it's quality.

You'll get over 30 mpg, decent service intervals, brilliant finish, interior etc. never gave me a lick of trouble in the 2 years that I owned it.

why go for a 140 ?
the 190 isnt very quick so 140 must be a bit lifeless

i had a vvti 140 before my uk 300 , yes it wasnt super quickbut it aint a slouch but what u get is a lovely built car with bags of character and looks great (my opnion anyway )
also the gear box was a work of art coupled to a lovely smooth engine which on long journeys was great on fuel

if you are going to get one go for a facelift nodel with the sport and premium packs if your budget stretches to it , the only downside to the facelift is the stereo is crap compared to the sony one previous but the interior colour is beter
