anyone any idea what year cars are 167bhp and what year are the 180bhp models? i thought the early ones were 167bhp and from T reg onwards were 180bhp but i've seen a R reg listed as 180bhp and a T reg as 167bhp so i'm confused

as far as i know they were all 167hp, any more would be down to tuning or optimism i think

I used to own one of these.

All of the GTI-6's regardless of year were 167 bhp.

It was the 206 GTI-180 that had 180bhp if that helps.
