Anyone got one?
What is it like to live with everyday? Whats the ride like?
I have a 130i and the ride is on the firm side.
What kind of real world MPG do you get?
Was thinking of a 6 month old 335d SE Coupe.

335d M sport Coupe just come out so may effect SE prices. They are all autos so make sure thats what you want.
Mine did 440 miles on 56 litres.
Get comfort access & Logic 7.
All in all good cars, not as pretty as they could be for a coupe but still nice. Although the M sport kit makes the SE look abit bland, but a 335d specced with M sport is over 40k, so you pays your moneys!

I've had a 335d M-Sport Touring since December and covered just over 3k miles. Nicely spec'd with leather, professional sat-nav, panoramic roof, hi-fi, xenons and afew other options it came in at just under £37k after my dealer matched the drivethedeal discount.
What is it like to live with every day? Absolutely bloody fantastic. I simply cannot rate this car highly enough. The engine has amazing torque, auto box as slick as they come, and the feel and weight of the controls just perfect. The interior is well equiped and decently built (not quite up to Audi standards, but not far off) and full of nice touches.
Fuel consumption - I'm averaging just under 35mpg since buying it which for a 282bhp car is pretty good. On a run at a fairly constant 80mph-ish you'll see over 40. Insurance cost me £340 a year. The run flats can make the ride a bit jiggly on poor surfaces, but it's only a minor niggle at worst.

Also drove a 335i for the day ... but, while sounding fantastic, it feels flaccid after the 335D.
The E90/92 335D engine is an all alloy re-worked version of the 535D ...

That sounds about right. The best that I've managed from my 535d was 560 miles from 63 litres. I usually get 500 miles from 60 litres give or take. Not bad when you consider the performance, weight, thirstier auto box etc etc.
I'm sure that the 335d is an awesome bit of kit. I'd have loved one, but for me they're still too expensive when compared to a decent 2nd hand 535d.

My feeling is the VED band G rating and higher fuel consumption are growing to screw the residuals of this car in comparison to the 335d, but only time will tell.
hehe yeah, silly name really. The "professional" sat-nav comes with a 9" colour screen and mapping. The cheaper "business" sat-nav doesn't have the colour mapping, just arrow directions.
