Default Any body now anything about revo remap for my golf

Due to the crap weather we are having i dont get the scoob out of the garage too often. Can any one help with information on revo remap for the missus 150bhp tdi golf.It does go very well for a diesel but a little more would'nt go a miss, all i know is approx figures are 200bhp and 300lb per ft. I dont know if these figures are genuine,if they are it'll be a good investment for about 500 quid

I take it you have checked out their site: Revo Technik | ECU Tuning & Engine Management Software

You can have a FREE 5 hour trial done. They put a temporary version of the remap on, and it last for 5 hours. Got to be done I would say.

I had my 150bhp Leon Tdi mapped at Jabbasport. Cost me £425 all in, and made 192/320 on their rollers, and 212/360 at Scoobyclinic

Thanks for those two clips chris. I'll get it booked in then, seems to go very well. Only problem is the missus will want me to sell the scooby if the golf goes that fast.

No problems, this is a slightly better run (but only to 80)

Default revo

i had a golf turbo and i had the revo trial done, it was 150bhp standard an it rocketed to 200+bhp, it was awsome trouble was my wife was with me an she was 6 months pregnant so i couldnt get the full benifit of the trial

i sold the car as it annoyed me but id recommend the revo its well worth the money.

what is a sps box. It does seem to go well, about 9secs to 80mph,Does the revo affect the fuel consumpion much.Midland vw quoted me about 450 quid with a before and after rolling road test is this a good price?

Price sounds about right, fuel consumption isnt really effected surprisingly, certainly not so you would notice.

SPS controller means you can switch between standard and revo maps:

It's taken a while but i finally got the remap done ,very impressed. It's gone up to 191 BHP, 287lb per ft and it go's like stink. Highly recommend it if you have the 150 golf, and if you dont want to get your scooby dirty in this crap weather leave it in the garage and take the golf you will have some fun.

Had an Anniversary TDI remapped when I had it.... gave a few things a fright when rolling including a Clio Trophy. Great in gear performance, just the clutch that struggles to keep up so budget for a new one...
