Top Gears - WORST 10 Cars
And the French get a right good old pasting .... why, oh why, would ANYONE buy Fench Crap??
Here's the bottom ten list in full:
143 Renault Laguna
Last year's fourth from bottom car staggers up the table
144 Ford C-Max
Owners of Ford's other sports MAV say they're treated like dirt
145 Mercedes A-Class
Quite a claim: the old-shape A-Class is the UK's worst car to drive
146 Mercedes M-Class
Bottom placed two years ago, very nearly as miserable now
147 Peugeot 407
One of the newest cars in the survey falls at the first hurdle
148 Citroen C8
Near-identical twin MPV to the Peugeot 807, only just better
149 Renault Megane
A cute backside isn't enough distraction for the Megane's owners
150 Peugeot 307
No area of fit, finish or reliability ranks above awful for this heap
151 Renault Espace
As before, big MPVs like the Espace get the strongest kicking here
152 Peugeot 807
Falls down in every area. As satisfying as a dose of dysentery
Mercedes are utter rubbish too!!

Don't understand how the 307 is in the bottom the list (barring dealers). I've must have driven over 20 lease ones now, most over 12months old and well used (all HDI SWs ...Ford/PSA engines, same as Focus/Mazda units btw) and not had a single problem, barring 2 with something loose on the near side front suspension from curb/pothole abuse (a good example of a car which proves that the governments proposed relaxed MOT standards are a bad idea ).
Renault Meganes on the otherhand deserve to be there; most of the lease ones were falling apart, some definetly had duff rear shocks too by the feels of them (not shake that ****...more like bounce that **** ), if I get handed a Renault Keycard, I hand it straight back. Horrible car.
I forsee the Nissan Micra dropping down there soon, I did an alarm overlay on one recnetly and can confirm that there is more Renault Clio under the skin than Nissan....not good for Nissan....

The new scoob had as many niggles... and several things have fallen of my Atom and there's **** all to it for 40k...

Usual thing really...not particularly the cars but the main dealers letting them down. I have had my probs with my Cup but nothing to cause too much concern (thanks to warrenty) and the dealers were awful on occasion but the warrenty work was carried out with out any quibbles with all my mods intact. The car is so much fun that it pretty much cancels out any probs I might have had
