Default What supercar was it ?

Ok guys this morning going along the M27 I came across what I can only describe as a cross between a Lambo/Zonda from the side. It was electric blue in colour and had no markings on the rear at all from what I could see. It was P reg (which indicated 96ish year as it didn't look like a private plate)

It looked like it was may be 10 years old and although the colour made me think it was just a replica of some sort, when he blipped the throttle it really did sound like it had some serious engine underneath. There was a badge on the front which I thought was red but can't be sure.

The front lights looked like this 1992 Bugatti EB110 SS [SuperSport] Pictures and Specifications @ SupercarStats.com - The Supercar Resource
the rear light clusters looked like large tic-tacs....with two exhausts in the rear nearer the centre but not next to each other. It was also left hand drive and I thought it looked european.

Love to know what it is, because I got the impression it was something special. Wish I had taken the plate now to check through the dvla site which gives registered make/manufacturer.

Any ideas or sites I can go to to try and see if I can recognise it.

Damn the rear isn't quite right although the lights are kind of oval shape. This one had a definite spoiler (tasteful one not an added ironing board).

Bugatti badge is red so its may be possible ??

Could have been a Cosworth powered 4 wheel reliant robin? Seen it before you would know as it is bright yellow.

Fair play to the person driving it as I can't imagine parts would be easy to come by?

I sat in one at the Motorshow one year, found about 4 quid on the seat in change and then got kicked off the stand cos we weren't allowed to sit in it!

The Bugatti EB110 was prototyped in several guises, there were different lights, spoilers, wheels etc.

I used to see a blue one parked in Sussex Square in Brighton but that was about 10 years ago.
