Need some advice on where to sell a Mondeo...
Need some advice from you knowledgable people!!
Trying to sell a Ford Mondeo (MY95 1.8GLX)...just trying to work out where's best to advertise it.....
Got an ad in Autotrader
Put an ad on here (you never know)
haven't looked at Ebay yet.......
Are there any Ford Mondeo forums.....
ONly after about £600 good runabout for the money.
Any suggestions?

Main Index - Mondeo Enthusiasts Group - Powered by FusionBB could be worth a look
Only £600! It had better be something special at that price
Have a look on fleabay to get an idea of what they go for. My mk1 1.8LX cost me just over a third of that. And a mate of mine has fairly recently bought an mk1 2.0GLX for just under £400. Good motor's though for very little money. Bl00dy things seem to go on for ever

Thought I was being pretty fair with the price, based on Autotrader tbh
109,000 with fsh.....
You got a bl00dy good deal for your price then!! It's not worth me going through all the cr@p for that type of price. May as well chuck it into the auctions!!
But thanks for the link anyway

To be fair mine wasn't perfect when I got it. It's been smashed up before as it has a different near-side front door and wing. It only had 70k on the clock and came with 9 months mot. But the only service history it had was an invoice for a new clutch a couple of months before, and a couple of mot's.
Still, it's only a cheap run around for me. I've battered it even more in the time i've had it. But i've just mot'd it and it only failed on 1 lower arm bush and the centre box in the exhaust so i'll keep hold of it for another year

I bought a mk2 TD off ebay for 600 quid (98 S reg) ok the clutch was on the way out and it needed a new shock absorber (had 124k on the clock and just have a service and all the belts changed) came with A/C etc (LX) and a nice cd player (done nearly 10k in her now and no real issues )
Older mondeo's are going for next to nothing your local rag or autotrader (4.99 online only for 2 weeks is a good bet) and take whatever you get offered

If you have a friendly local shop keeper that has a carpark in view of a busy road it might be worth slipping him a tenner to park it on his forcourt.
Plenty of local views then.
Or outside your own property with numbers in the window if you live on a throughfare..
Council gets a bit funny if you do it too often though
