0-60 in under 2 seconds.....???
Barabus TKR.....supposed to be going to take the crown from the Veyron!!
Barabus TKR takes over as world's fastest car? | Leftlane News - Car News For Enthusiasts
Specs: Barabus: 6.0 litre, 1005bhp, V8 twin turbo, rear wheel drive.
Veyron (from memory) 8 litre, 1001bhp, W16 quad turbo, 4 wheel drive.
Now.....I'm not doubting that this thing is going to be fast.....after all, the Ultima set the 0-100-0 record didn't it and it has a similar spec, but something like 640bhp (no turbos though were there?)
I cannot imagine that a rear wheel drive car is going to get sufficient traction (on road tyres) to make the 0-60 in under 2 seconds.....that's feckin quick!!!
Dragsters....no problem.....but they have HUGE slicks and launch like an Apollo space rocket.
Mind you.........IIRC....fastest car o-60 had NO WHEEL DRIVE!!!! Vanishing Point (Sammy Miller) 0-60 in 0.16 seconds (not a typo). I think it was doing over 120mph from standstill in the length of a double decker bus!!!!

Whooooooooooooooo !!!!!!!!
Had to read it twice, as I thought it read Brabus.
Never heard of Barabus. Look more Kit car than production car.
While that is a light weight race/road car, the Bug is a luxury road car, that just happens to be quite fast !!!
I know which one I'd rather own. Just need a huge Lottery win to make it happen.

Or even faster theres the gumpert apollo.
Anyway barabus TKR is just another of a long line of manufacturers who have cliamed to be able to go much faster than the veyron, yet never prove it.
