Red lorry ,yellow lorry.
Or indeed Red Fabia, yellow Fabia ?
I am going along to the dealers to place my order on a new vRS this afternoon but I am struggling to make my mind up on colour.
I didn't like the old Lemon Yellow but the new Sprint yellow is very nice. It is also only avalible in the vRS and Sport so it is something of a stand-out colour in the range.
I keep my cars looking well and red cars do look the bollocks with a nice deep polish. Red may also look a little less 'boy racer'-ish
I'd be looking to do minimal mods and have 'shopped these 2 for reference:
Never thought I'd see the day I'd be contemplating a yellow car...

You should buy a blue one with gold wheels (well I would say that).
Seriously tho. Red fades in the sun, yellow dates a car and limits its resale (some people will not buy a yellow car),
Silver is not offensive, easy to live with and sells well after you.
Your choice, If you like it just buy it and who cares what anyone else thinks.
Not much help i'm afraid.

Done the whole Blue with gold thing
The keeping of the red car isn't a problem as my uncle owns a bodyshop and I have a '98 Polo at the mo that is gleeming with only the wing mirrors pinking slightly (must get to work on them)
The points you make about yellow are ones I have heard and am aware of and probably do tip the scales in favour of red.
Silver, yes perhaps not offencive but rather boring and my present car is silver and could spend double the time polishing it and still it would struggle to look as well kept as the Polo....and silver is £350 dearer

i'd either have silver or black, wouldn't have red cos the sun fades it and i'd never buy a yellow car neither would loads of other people, black cars look stunning when their clean!! just a nightmare to keep them clean that all, silver looks good and is low maintenance.
