Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any experience of this motor....is the difference between the xk8 and R the supercharger?? or is thee anything else??

what r they like as an everyday car and is there actually any diff in the facelift model from 2000 onwards cus i cant see it!!!

The later ones haven't got any problems with the chain tensioners and nikasil lining of the cylinders. Apart from a few mechanical improvements the facelift ones have a few cosmetic changes, most noticeably the nicer rear lights with chrome trim.

If they'd done them with a manual gearbox I would have bought one.
