Turbocharger Upgrade
Performance 3" Stainless Steel Race Cat Downpipe

£5.5k give or take.

Yeah - looked at similar stuff for my Saab 9k Aero. For about the same money I can get about 450bhp/560Nm. 500bhp is about £7k which is getting a bit painful. I guess the start point is 225bhp for the Aero vs. the Volvo's 300bhp so it's got a lot further to climb.
Both the volvo and the saab are great in this respect as they are still on standard internals up the 500bhp mark - just bolt on the bits and away you go (well that's the theory). Nice to have 4WD!!
Actually - given the list of parts, the Volvo upgrade seems quite expensive? Must also have a daddy standard intercooler and fuel system to cope - cant believe it runs those as standard for 500bhp????
