Nothing like a pound for dollar conversion base price of the coupe is $43k (£23k) and the soft-top is $48k (£26k). So it looks as though it's between 19k and 22k to get it shipped over and SVA'd. Would be curious to know how much Litchfields would price one up at.

Over here, yeah, not too shabby, and the handling is meant to be a bit better than the standard 'stang. I'd be slightly tempted by a Roush or maybe the rather nice Sallen S281 Extreme Coupe (550 / 480) though that's a base price of $72k

Saw one exactly the same at banger racing near northampton on Sunday.
Unless it's significantly better to drive than the standard Mustang GT then i wouldn't bother.
Edit - just noticed its got 500bhp so i guess it would be a LOT better to drive than the standard 300BHP GT which i didn't really rate at all.

I dont think its that bad to be honest - although with 500bhp i'm sure is enough to overwhelm its rear wheels.
having said that who needs handling when its this fast and will destroy most M5's RS6's etc.

No, it's not value for money. The car costs $45,000. Even with import tax at 10% and VAT at 17.5% it would cost no more than £32,000 to have it shipped to the UK. Someone is making a nice penny on it.
I had an order placed with a dealer in Texas for one until I bought a CL65 and read the GT500 reviews.. there was no way the GT500 would touch it.

Talking raw pounds is vulgar, but suffice to say it had done over £90K of depreciation in 18 months before I bought the CL65.
