Over what??

It's exciting, don't you think????

A car I owned 27 years ago appears on e-bay!

You wouldn't understand - you aren't even 27 years old yourself

Fair enough, it's a bit unexpected, but how many threads do you need to start about it?

Two will do ............. why are you soooooo worried??

You need help mate if this is what worries you, don't you think it is a very small issue on a very small thread on a very small forum on a small BBS in a small world in a BIG universe????

You are very sad and very lonely if this upsets you ....... quite why you post beggars belief!!??

It was my pride and joy in 1979

A GT Automatic - specially made, as the GT did not come with Auto as an option. This makes the car even rarer than it already is!

I replaced the Front wing after ripping the original off along the side of a parked lorry ...... the car that ran me into the lorry drove off!!

To think that I switched those switches 27 years ago is mind boggling

And washed and polished those panels .......

I am going to dig out my old pictures of the car when I had it .....

I can hand the credit for the find to Miss Kinky ............... a Cortina Fan.

I have no scanner anymore, so I will have to take a digital picture of the prints I guess?

Need to find them now, 27 years is a long, long time to find photos from!! But it would be great if I could find them!?

I always remembered it as a darker blue - and - I'm sure the boot lid had a full black strip along the back ... the one in the photo looks like a GXL boot with the GT stickers replaced (but my memory plays tricks on me these days)

That number plate might well be worth more than the car! Buy the car, scrap it or flog it back to Pete for a handful of beans then sell the plate on and make a profit!

They did WAFT, indeed!!!!

That front bench seat was useful when I was younger

I think they were about 6 foot wide!! Could stretch out

I asked one girl, "Would you like to get in the back?"

She said, "No, Pete, I want to stay up front here with you!"
