New Seat Leon TDI Sport
I've just had my new car delivered and although its a very nice car I will miss using the Scooby on a daily basis.
Therer are a couple of things that are grating me though. No ipod attachment available from Seat. The thought of having to either purchase CDs again or even burn them does not bode well. I'm so used to getting into my Subaru plugging in the ipod and having 4 + days worth of tunes on the go and all controlled by the stereo. I hate clutter so am only bringing in 1 cd at a time.
The cost of an attachment? £250 supplied and fitted.
The other thing although undeniably a nice good looking car it doesn't have any road presence.
The subaru has this in spades, it stands out and makes the right noises. No I know the two cars are a worlds away but every time I leave my house I want to leave the Seat and drive it instead.
On the plus side though. MPG is great. I'm nver going to get those figures from the scoob and the interior finish in the Leon is great.
I thought I'd just share my thoughts on this gloomy afternoon.
Regards
Esh

The Ipod link is £100 so there's a lot of fitting.........
Have a searce for the Denison Ipod link, its what Skoda use, so no doubt its what Seat will use. Then get someone with a better idea about providing value to fit it.

Hey Neanderthal,
I've got a V4 Type R. Pioneer Head Unit with an Ipod module that gives me control via the head unit.
Sorry for the confusion mate.

Company car. Within my budget and was the best of all cars I tried out.
I don't dislike the car I hadn't said that its more the car is just like all the other rat race cars on the road. Even when I used my Subaru for work I'd always have smile on my face driving it. With the cost of fuel and poor fuel economy The Leon is a great buy.
Thanks for the Dension info I can get this supplied and fitted via Halfords
Or go back to the independent and have them sort out their pricing.

i put dension ice link in mine (i am lucky cos I sell them so dont pay full retail) but to be honest i think changing the head unit is the better option long term cos you get a better sound.

Halfords are doing the dension for £133.00 fitted! Im getting it put in next Thursday.
Thing is I would have preferred to go with the independent retailer but £250 is way over odds.
