I like it as well, a huge improvement on the old 3 box design. It could do without some of the tatty add ons like the fuel filler but maybe they won't make it to the final design?

i think it looks really good.
If it was out earlier i would have one but my money will be well spent by then.
the interior looks like its out of a moon buggy

At least it now looks a little more 'designed' unlike the previous evos and scoobs which just take a very bland design of a saloon and bung loads of bodykit, scoops and spoilers on.

Its a departure right enough, but change is good and its modern, as long as it goes the same, handles the same and improves the bits it let it down in.

I think it looks stunning. Far better than any concepts subaru have shown. Obviously the interior will look nothing like this concept but hopefully they keep the external look of the thing as all to often the actual production version looks nothing like the concept cars. If the service intervals are sorted then i would seriously consider this.

I think it looks quite smart. I'll deffo consider one. What I've now learnt, is that STI's & Evo's lose soo much money from new, and I think alot of this is down to how they look. All spoilers and scoops. That new Evo X, is going more to the mainstream looks, yet still keeping a quite aggressive look about it. This will in turn help residuals. Just look at the upcoming Audi S3. That will hardly lose any money in the first 2 years, even though it will probably give a STI and Evo a good run for their money.
Personnaly, I don't think I'll ever go back to buying a Spoilered up rally replica, as for the reasons above. Yet if the new Evo X keeps it's residuals better due to the fact it's more understated, then I would be very tempted.
Plus have you seen the new Impreza ???? If you think the Evo X look horrible, just wait till you see the new Impreza !!!

At least it looks different I guess. The front looks quite aggressive, but why do they fit chav lights on the rear as standard?!
Certainly better that the current and future scoob designs - theyve really lost the plot. All went wrong with the bug-eye, then just as they were getting back on track with the blob-eye they come out with the MY06

Looks mean and purposeful. How a rock hard AWD point and squirt car should be. If Subaru had gone down similar lines rather than the strange choices they've made recently they'd have me keen to buy at least!
Defo would look even better in black or silver. Lets face it, that's not the most flattering colour and it still looks like a double hard b*stard!

Evo 10 is ugly and the new up comin sti is ugly too.
The ten has a too high waistline and looks weighty because of it. I prefer the 8.
Should look better in the flesh and when its un conceptized.
