Default Ferrari 575 Super America

I am not that much of a Ferrari fan. But with today being the 1st of March, a new month brings a new car on my Top Gear calendar: The 575 Super America. I am not familiar with the 575 Super America, however I was a little disappointed with it's looks. The new Scaglietti is much prettier. But I thought the 575 Super America looks similar to a Ferrari kitted MR2 .

There was something about the rear wing / wheel / window combo that resembled the oh so attractive 355 MR2 ?

These were the best pics i could find to demonstrate ?

Its by far one of the worst ferraris of the new era

I see where your comming from with those pictures though, ferrari skimping costs to cream a bigger profit

So what you are actually saying is that the guys who design/fabricate the MR2 kits actually do a good job.

I am pretty sure if you saw a Super America in the flesh or better still owned one you would have a different opinion.

I really dont like them, stupid roof design, give me the 575 marenello or F430 any day over that. It's plain to see its targeted at the poser not the sports car enthuiast (/rich banker ) it should be!

There's a 612 parked outside my office most days. It doesn't look that much on paper, but it's awesome in the flesh.

Although it is undeniably prettier than the 575, I certainly wouldn't say no to either car.
